Terms and Conditions Agreement

This Website is owned and operated by Bright dry cleaners. Our registered office is at 69 Essex Rd, London N1 2SF. Where you communicate on behalf of a company / organisation rather than as an individual, you promise that you have authority to act on behalf of that entity. The Terms restrict our liability to you in certain circumstances. The customer understands that there is inherent risk in cleaning and there is potential for clothing and related items to get lost or damaged. Bright dry cleaners will do its best to ensure situations like this do not happen, and in the instances they do happen, will work with the customer to rectify the situation.

Contract

These Terms will apply to any order we accept from you. Please note that unless you accept these Terms, you should not be placing an Order. These Terms may change from time to time and it is the current version which will apply to each Order when you place it. Please read these Terms carefully and make sure that you understand them before placing an Order. The Terms restrict our liability to you in certain circumstances. Please note any Orders with a value of less than £20.00 will be charged £20.00 as a minimum.

Liability

The customer acknowledges that cleaning includes certain risks, including the possibility of clothing and related things being lost or damaged. Bight dry cleaners will do everything able to prevent situations like this from occurring, and if they do, the company will work with the consumer to resolve the problem. Without limiting the above, and to the extent allowed by required applicable law, the liability of our service providers shall not exceed 15 times the cost of cleaning the item, but not more than £50.00 per item, given a proof of purchase is provided, showing the date of purchase and the value of the item. The client is responsible for removing collar stiffeners and cuff links from shirts, as well as empty pockets. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all items given for a service wash can be washed and tumble dried. Within 48 hours of delivery, complaints must be received. Before any claim for payment for damage to an item(s) may be processed, the cleaning team must be allowed to collect the item(s) and try to repair the damage. The items of the customer shall hold for no more than three months. After three months, the customer’s possessions will be donated to charity.

Events Outside Our Control

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of Our obligations under these Terms that is caused by an Event Outside Our Control. An Event Outside Our Control means any act or event beyond Our reasonable control, or the reasonable control of our Service Providers including (without limitation) strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action by third parties, civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster, or closure or failure of public infrastructure or public or private telecommunications networks. If an Event Outside Our Control takes place that affects the performance of Our obligations under these Terms. We will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to notify you; and Our obligations under these Terms will be suspended and the time for performance of Our obligations will be extended for the duration of the Event Outside Our Control.

Complaints

You agree to communicate any complaints to us and not the driver. You agree to comply with our complaint and other policies on our Website as may be varied from time to time.
